We are setting up an editable price type and seem to be missing something. The price type is checked as Editable in TR_PRICE_TYPE and the zone is checked as Edit in the price map. However the price is not editable in an order. What are we missing? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Do you have the minimum price listed as less than the regular price on the price map? If it is the same price in both fields you will never be able to edit it down.
Did you change your minimum allowable in the price map? Otherwise it defaults to the maximum price.

Have you entered a minimum price on the price map? If you leave the minimum price the same as the base price, the functionality will not ‘work’ as you won’t be able to edit the price below the base price.

You can’t edit the price until the line item is seated.

This may be obvious to everyone but me, but when I first used editable pricing I was trying to edit the price before selecting the seat, which doesn’t work.

Kevin - we're actually trying to import unseated orders using an editable price map. So it sounds like what we want to do won't work, is that correct?
That’s correct. If you edited the price on an unseated line item it would get recalculated upon seating, undoing the edit.
