Has anyone ever been able to rig something so that you can batch print tickets when there are performances from different seasons in the same order? In other words, I want to batch print subscription tickets (Season A) and special add-ons (Season B), which all live in the same order together. I was thinking there might be some sort of print-to-file & merge recipe....

I don't know if you are talking about batch printing to a BOCA type of ticket printer or more like flat sheet tickets (i.e. through a normal laser printer). We have some crazy custom SQL scripting done that basically takes orders, flattens them out to include all the ticket / patron information per seat and then exports it to an Access database which we've designed to print our season tickets.
It's definitely a workaround situation and can be very fussy at times. It's very customized to our organization - I'd be interested in hearing if there are more 'generic' ways other people do it...

I am in the same situation this season as you (needing to print tickets from multiple seasons). We do our printing on flat sheet tickets through a laser printer and wish to continue this process, but am running into the same problems. Would you be willing to share your code?
