We are looking at a way to allow a group organizer to set up an order for x amount of tickets and provide that organizer with their order number to give out to the group participants to call or go online to purchase their tickets from the order. The catch is that we want to capture all of the information from that individual (so create a new file or use their existing) and create an association to the group file, as well as keep a master list on the group file of all the participants so that the group organizer knows who has paid and who hasn't.
Is there anyone out there using custom screens or anything else to track group sales and allow individuals to purchase tickets off of a group order?

We are set up to do something similar at Yale. We create separate orders for the group members and tie them together using a promo code. Then we can run reports to make sure each group has met its minimum.
