Eliminating PAH for a Performance

Hey Ticketing Guru's,

We have a production that is currently on-sale with the PAH delivery method associated with the performances MOS. However, we do NOT want patrons to print tickets at home since we need to include special instructions with the tickets. My first thought was to create a new MOS for this production that doesn't have access to the PAH delivery method, seems simple enough. Well, tickets have already been sold for the performance(s) and I'm not so sure about removing the current MOS and adding a new MOS, I can see that causing issues with already sold tickets under that MOS. So how do I remove PAH from this production without wrecking havoc on already sold tickets?

I'm by no means a ticketing expert so all suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks,

  • You could just change the end dt on the already-used MOS to a second after the max order_dt for the perfs in question in that MOS. That would solve your problem for all new orders. Or could you possibly create a separate order confirmation email for this production that includes the special instructions? Then regardless of delivery method, people would receive the instructions via email. Or just have an automated email with the instructions sent to people who purchase that production, separate from the tickets and the confirmation? Then you wouldn't need to eliminate PAH. Although hoping people actually open/read that many emails might be wishful thinking...
