Occasionally, someone will purchase the services of the Houston Symphony for a private performance. We have not entered this information into Tessitura, but we think it should who on the purchasers customer record. It's not a contribution, it's ticketing revenue. How do you record this kind of transaction?
Thanks,

We haven't done exactly this, but something similar, and ended up creating a one-time-use fee for the whole amount. So the patron in question has an order with just that fee in it.
If it's something that happens every year, even if only once or twice, you could create a Production for "Private Performances", and then a prod season every year with one dummy perf in a GA house, and then have each seat represent each time someone does it. Or variations on that depending on how much detail you wanted to keep.
Thanks so much, Amanda.
