Special Characters in Ticket Design

Is there a way of inserting special characters such as 'ø' on a ticket design?

e.g. Courtesy of Blenkov and Schønnemann Pictures.

I have tried using standard keyboard shortcuts, and also tried copying and pasting the character in, neither of which work.

Any ideas?

  • Hey Laura,

We write the text in Microsoft Word with the symbols involved and then copy and paste the text into Tessitura – usually that works.

If not, then write the text how you want it in Word (font, size etc) and then make that a picture you can insert.

    Hope that helps!

    Beau.

  • Hi Laura,

You have to type in the ASCII code for the character and you also need to bed sure that you are using a font for your ticket design that supports the special characters.  You can find some instructions in section 3.H of  the Ticket Design document.
