Hey folks,
We are attempting to accept contributions at the box office with an associated premium, but it appears that Tessitura isn’t built to handle this sort of situation. I’ve got my appeal set up, the premium all set and everything, but when I enter the contribution in my Ticket sales batch it does not get assigned and there is no premium tab where I can select it.
Anyone have clever workarounds?

What we do, is that we do not use the "Ticketing" contribution tab to accept gifts but the box office will put the money into a special on account payment method. The next day, Development will take that money and use it in the contribution module. We also accept donations online during the ticket purchase path and is handled the same way. This allows the development department apply the gift to the proper funds, campaigns, premiums, memberships and all of the other things they do with a gift.
