I am looking for a report that will  split tickets sales and VAT, is this possible?

    Assuming that you split VAT into a separate price map and Price Category on each ticket, the Ticket Sales by Period report and the new Performance Transaction Detail report (v10) both have a Price Categories parameter.  This would enable you to run a sales report to reflect only the VAT portion of the ticket sales.
