Promo code shows

How could I pull a list of all of the performances valid for a specific promo code?

In List Manager you can pull it from the Promotions Tab and then Source Number, or you could use T-stats.

  • I see how that brings up patrons who’ve used the promo code but how can I see at a glance which shows are available to purchase using that code?  Right now we keep a spreadsheet at the Box Office to know what shows are valid. I was hoping there was a way to pull it up in Tessitura though.

    Thanks,

    Sorry, I misread  your post.

We use the Custom Tab on the Performance Information screen to show what promo codes are available for that performance.  I don’t know of a report that would pull the promo codes associated with a performance prior to the promo code being used.

  • Right, it works to see what promo codes are good per show but not the other way around in seeing what shows are good per promo code.  I’ll keep investigating.

    Hi Shelley,

It's not a report, but in TR_WEB_SOURCE_NO, for each source number I use the Promo Code Column to indicate conditions for a source code including amount of discount, all valid performances for the promo code and the Price Type to use for booking the tickets.  Mos and Parent Key columns are left blank for this purpose.

For example, for one source code in this column I have entered Soulpepper members - 20% off Kingfisher, all shows except opening night     GAF20

Then when the box office staff pull up the Source Code window, conditions are populated in the line below the Source code name and number.  They can also then use the Promo Phrase Like: box at the bottom of this window to quickly filter down to all source codes that are applicable to a specific production.

To clarify my last post, if a source code has a promo code attached to it, then two separate line entries are made in TR_WEB_SOURCE_NO for that code - 1) assign promo code to MOS, 2) list of discount, performance and price type conditions.

    Duane

  • That’s perfect, Duane, I’ll do it!

    Thanks,

    Shelley Salinas
