Hello Everyone,
We are going to be recongifuring our seating maps in Tess to better accommodate the API calls to Tessitura for SYOS. We plan on keeping it pretty much the same, but chopping up some areas to create new sections. Does anyone have any helpful advice before I start this project? I was going to work it out in Test first, and then put it in live. I just want to make sure this is done efficiently as possible.

Center Theatre Group recently went through a process of revamping our Mark Taper Forum seat map in Tessitura. Management wanted more flexibility for pricing within our current zones. A word to the wise...we now have about 30 different price zones. This does confuses patrons if they decide not to use SYOS and instead use your "Best Available" seating feature. Our patrons now see 30 different Best Available price zones to choose from and this confuses them greatly.
Hi-Not sure from your post and the subsequent response whether you are planning to change your zones or your sections. Zones can be more easily changed. Sections can also be changed, but you'll likely need to process your next package rollover via a conversion season. Just wanted to make sure you were understanding one another.
