Hi
I'm sure there's a solution to this but I can't remember it!
As there is a VAT increase in the UK on Jan 4th, we have added new price maps to concerts where the price is changing so that the price will change accordingly. However, the sales figures are now doubling on Season Overview.
I have made sure Base price isn't ticked for both price maps and the price map dates don't overlap. What else can I check?
Thanks
Siobhan
Hi Siobhan,
If there are two price maps on a price type that are both marked as Price Category = Ticket Price (1), they'll be double counted in Season Overview. Some organizations get around this by either expiring one price map and starting a new one, so that there's no overlap in time. Others create a new price category called Additional Ticket Price (or the like), and associated their new layered map to this price category.
Hope that helps,
Chris

Just in case anyone else ever comes across this problem and the above doesn't work, check TR_BATCH_PERIOD. We had set up Tessitura for selling for a second venue and thought that having their fiscal year run Jan - Dec at the same time as our Sep - Aug was a good idea, but this meant that performances from January were falling within TWO periods (period 1 of the York Barbican and period 5 of the Bridgewater Hall), the result was that figures on the Performance Summary screen were doubled, amusingly this included the Hall's capacity!
