I created a new appeal for the a customer group that should be for 25% off.
I chose the correct performances in Season Maintenance and went to apply the offer. I forgot to choose the correct appeal and left it open to All Appeals. This resulted in Tess and web sales defaulting to the 25% off price type.
When I went back and tried to apply to Full Price type to those performances, leaving it open to All Appeals, it didn’t work.
I deleted the 25% off discount price type as well as the web 25% off price type for these performances which resulted in ticket prices being defaulted back to Full. Yet if I add them again, they automatically go back to the 25% off price.
Anyone have an idea about how to get out of this circular loop? I add the 25% off price type in and it's activate everywhere, I remove it and it's gone, and Tess seems to be ignoring when I apply the regular price back against all appeals. It's really odd.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
Tried this, but it still doesn’t solve the problem of Tess defaulting to 25% off whenever that price type is present.
Whether the promo code/appeal is used or not, both web and phone modes of sale will default to 25% off as soon as that price type is added back in for those performances to be attached to the appeal.
Does that make sense? This is a crazy circular problem that we can't seem to fix.

Zacory,
It’s not the price types you need to remove – you actually need to change the offer itself to only be attached to the one appeal/source that you want it valid for.
In Season Manager, if you select the correct MOS and Price Type of the current 25 % off offer, and then select *only* the Appeal/Source(s) that you want active in the offer, you can select “update existing offers only” and it should update your “All Appeals” offer to be just the one appeal.

The TX-MOS_Pricetype, default check box on the system tables is not checked. So that is not the problem. Great ideas! But no solution yet.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts! At this point we are just going to create another price type, and go through the same process to see if it's something WE did, or if it's just a completely weird issue with the system.
