Setting a Default MOS

An easy question for a Friday;

Is it possible to set a default MOS? I've checked T_DEFAULTS, but can't seem to find anything...

    Elizabeth,

     

    There is an entry that can be entered in T_Defaults….the field name is Default MOS and then you add the MOS id in the Default Value column.  If you don’t have this entry in your table, it can be manually added.

    Something I just thought about…the entry in the T_Defaults table is for the default MOS online.  I’m that’s what you were looking for :o)

    Odd! I've added the Default MOS line in T_DEFAULTS for the Impresario client and entered the MOS ID, saved, and closed and re-opened Tessitura, but it's still defaulting alphabetically.

    Am I missing something, or is it time for a help ticket?

    Right, it's for the Impresario client.

    I would love if it could be set... otherwise, maybe I'll rename the new MOS to drop alphabetically below my desired default.

    Now, what's a name for 'Group Sales' that starts after I? ;)

    You can assign a default for a User Group in the Security application when assigning Modes of Sale to a user group.

    The default MOS for users is set by security group in the Security application.

    Thanks so much, everyone! I forget about the Security application stuff--although I did remember to get access to it when I set it up!
