Hello all! My team has just started selling subscription packages for our 24/25 season. I wanted to know if it would be possible to have non-package items display on the packages page. For example, we have some optional recitals patrons can add-on to their package purchase that we would like to add to this page if it is possible. I tried toying with applying the "Packages" keywords to the performances but this didn't seem to work. To work around this so that patrons can add these additional items to their cart, we currently have a pricing rule that links to these items.
Hi, Rashida!
We're very new to Tessitura (just went live in January), so I could possibly be speaking out of line here... however, we had a similar situation in that we have a "package" that isn't really a true package in Tessitura terms, but I still wanted it to appear on the package page so that patrons would see it. Not having it there would cause them to think it wasn't available at all. You could do something similar and then link to the performance/event page within the descriptive text of the fake package. You can see what we did on this page here. The FLEX package is set up as a pricing rule (not a package).
The fake package is set up with the Web Subscription MoS, but with a start and end date in the past.
Hopefully this helps!
