We are starting to actively use special access areas and would like to know if anyone can tell me where to find a report that reflects the attendance.
I saw there were some posts from 10 years ago and am getting an error message when trying to click on where to find the report.
Mahalo for your help,
Tiffany Gibo
Tiffany Gibo,
The standard report (V15, at least, not sure about V16), "N-Scan Attendance Scan Report" in the "N-Scan" folder reports on special access areas. The one thing about that report, though, is that it does also include the attendance from the related performance as well. So if you are looking to use that to create a list of people who scanned in to your access areas, that might not quite get you there.
We wanted a report that ONLY showed special access areas, so I just wrote a very simple one to accomplish that. If you have someone on staff who has database access and who can create custom reports, I am happy to share. This one is pretty basic and more or less universal and so should not really require any customizing to fit your organization. If interested, just let me know, and I can send the stuff over to you. My e-mail is jmoskal@thecenterpresents.org.
Best of luck!

Aloha Mr. Moskal,
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Our special access area will only allow 1 entry per ticket. Just wondering if there is a report that will show the scans in the access area that were denied?
I dont have any one on staff that can create custom reports but thank you for the offer to share information.
Thank you!
I have never actually used it myself (because our special access area is open to all who want to enter, we just want to track who is and is not entering and thus all tickets scanned are valid), but my understanding is that the N-Scan Access Area Scan Exception Report would be the one you want to show you failed scans for that access area.
Using that report I can only see the errors for the performance not for the special access.
Thanks for all your help.
Really? That surprises me. I mean, there is the N-Scan Event Scan Exception Report, which I expect would give the performance errors. But I would expect the N-Scan Access Area Exception Report to do the same for access areas.
