Hello, all! Our organization currently uses Order Notes on the Will Call Headers to place notes about items that need to be checked at Will Call - proof of certain types or memberships or auction letters for complimentary tickets. (For example, if we need to see their Oregon Trail card, the Order Notes say "Oregon Trail" and that prints onto the Will Call header for the volunteer to see as they find their tickets in Will Call)
This means that when we're working with an order that doesn't require it, we must space or tab over so that the order notes do not appear on the Will Call header. It seems a little silly, and makes pulling reports with order notes tedious because of the spacing. Is there an easier way to be doing this to prevent having to leave space in the order notes? I know that we could specify a Header with the Order Note field to print in a printing batch, but unsure of how to separate out these specific orders in a batch. I've also worked at previous orgs where we simply have them email us a proof of their card to note in their accounts or mail us the letters. How are other people taking care of things like this?
We have a couple of different discounts that we check ID's for. Two of our most frequent are Senior Rush discounted tickets (for those ages 65+) and Student Tickets (any college level student who is currently enrolled). We have different Header designs to designate Driver's License Required or Student ID Required. For both, in the Ticket Design menu, we have a Header design that has a Text box where we put the text we want, such as **STUDENT ID REQUIRED** . This shows up (in the Properties of that Element) under Mask and then Text Val: **STUDENT ID REQUIRED**. From there, we assign that Header to be the default for a specific Student MOS we use, and then the default Delivery Method we make sure is Pick Up with ID. From there, we do use a Batch Printing that is strictly for our Student ID tickets so that we can match that Pick Up with ID Delivery Method to only the Student Price/MOS that we want and then all the tickets in that Batch will print with the **STUDENT ID REQUIRED**. It makes it really nice for Will Call! :) Hope this is helpful.
