terminology

Hi all,

Here's a basic question for you:  Is there technically a difference between a source code and a promo code?  My understanding is that a promo code is a source code that has been attached to a performance through an offer.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • The promo code is what the patron types into the website for the discount.  The source code is how you build it in Tessitura.  If you’re looking at the Performance by Appeal report it’s all the same.
