terminology

Hi all,

Here's a basic question for you:  Is there technically a difference between a source code and a promo code?  My understanding is that a promo code is a source code that has been attached to a performance through an offer.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • The promo code is the word or phrase or combination of letters and numbers that can be used in lieu of the source code directly, attached to the source code attached to an offer. Functionally they do the same thing. In terms of tracking, no difference.
