Quick advice needed: We normally have a Friday, Saturday and Sunday Pops series. Next season we are getting rid of Sunday Pops. Do you know of a way of how best to proceed with rollovers for those Sunday patrons since we don't necessarily know which day they would choose and if their normal seats would even be available? Or should we just not roll them over and work through it on a case by case basis. Anyone else gone through this?
Hi. Adding to what Katina said, you could create a message-only pricing rule to have your reps flip the solicitor to RollOver if you don't create rollover orders (assuming that's how you track new/renew). Having been through many season restructures, I recommend pulling some stats on those Sunday subscribers and make sure that you give some preference to long-time subscribers. It really helps if they know that you know that they've supported you for a long time and that this change effects them. Since you're only looking at two package options, I'd identify those people and see if their same seats are available on one of the other days and have that option ready for them. It really goes a long way to making them feel cared about.
Hi Katie!
How do you get access to change the solicitor to RollOver?
I believe the user group would need edit rights to the Const Orders Tab security object. This is done in Tessitura Security.
I can change the solicitor but RollOver isn't even an option.
I am not entirely sure this can be accomplished from within the application. It can be done easily enough from the database if you have a staff member who has access and SQL skills (which is how we do it), but I have never seen it done from the application itself.
That's what I was afraid of, John. Thank you!
I believe the Rollover solicitor is generated only when you actually do the rollover process. It's not something you can manually add later.
