Does anyone have experience with Ticketmaster Interactive Maps?

Hi all,

I'm hoping this is the best forum to pop this question into! For as long as we have had Tessitura we have offered allocations to Ticketmaster for performances that take place in both of our venues, we currently do this by using a specific 'Ticketmaster' hold code we have created and then provide them with a 'Hold Code Report' to advise what seats they can put on sale. This has worked well for the majority of events but we run into a few issues.

  1. As this is an allocation and not an actual representation of the actual seats sold by Ticketmaster, we never have an accurate figure of the total number of tickets sold on Analytics and instead we have to access TM1 (Ticketmaster's sales portal) to see what their sales are for this event.
  2. This also affects on the night as certain members of the team (part time members of staff) don't have access to TM1, which means they can't advise the duty manager what seats are available if we need to reseat customers for whatever reason
  3. Lastly, when the promoter of the event wants all Ticket sales to go through the venue again we are provided a mark back sheet from Ticketmaster of all the seats they haven't sold and we then have to remove these holds, which can be tedious process.

Recently we were in discussions with Ticketmaster and they have mentioned they have solution called 'Interactive Maps'. From my understanding of what was described to me this would allow us to see exactly what seats they have sold on our seat maps via an API connection.

My question has any other member used Interactive Maps with Ticketmaster and could you further explain the benefits it has had for your organisation?

Many thanks,

Matthew
