This is probably a really dumb question that I just can't seem to find the answer to anywhere, but...
1. What does "ZoneShort" mean on the buttons in Sales Layout Set-Up?
2. How do I set those up to match our different rooms/galleries?
Currently I'm just hand-keying in every time I build a button as to what room a particular event is in, but I'm hoping there is a better way of doing it. So for example, I want the "Art Start" performance button to say in "ZoneShort" that it's Studio C. Other than hand keying that in each time, how else would I go about it?
From what I've researched, Zones can be used for Price Zones, but that's not what I need it for. If that's not possible I'll continue to hand-key in what I need. It would just be nice if Zone also meant "location."
Hi Chelsea,
ZoneShort is a token that is replaced by the short description for the price zone selected when the Zone Mode on the button is set to Specific. You can find explanations of the button label tokens in the help topics for sales layout button setup. Here's a link to the Performance button setup topic: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System/Tessitura.htm#Sales%20Layouts/Performance%20Button.htm
Unfortunately there isn't a way to automate the display of the room that an event takes place in. All the label tokens relate to performance name, code, and date and time or the zone description.
My understanding is that Label 1, 2, or 3 can be a value you type in. In other words, you can tell the button to show "Studio C."... a fixed text value, or left blank.
That's what I figured.
I have been hand tying it in when needed; I was just hoping for some autofill. Guess that's something for the Ideas board.
