we are running into a problem which is one performance name is "too long" for t_inventory table.
is there anyone have a solution?

The ticket text fields allow more characters. You can use those instead, and just have the inventory description be some shortened version that's still recognizable internally.
We have a content type that we use when we need to override the perf_name on the web. Ticket text fields would work, too.

We use the content type too. most of webpages are OK. Only one page escaped from our content type:"performance title" . It will be fixed.
