Deleting Hold Codes and Maps

We recently went through our list of hold codes and maps and it's a cluttered mess.  We want to go through and clean up the old and unused codes, but we wanted to check with the Tessitura world to see if deleting them has any adverse affect on past performances, reporting, or anything else like that.

Thank you!

  • Hi Michael,

These bits from the Hold Codes documentation may prove useful.

Hold codes which are not in use can be deleted by clicking on the desired hold code and then clicking Delete; only hold codes that are not in use in any performances, past or present, can be deleted.

    Deleting a Hold Code Map
When an existing hold code map is no longer needed it can be deleted.  To delete a hold code map, select it by clicking on it and then click the Delete under the Holdcode Maps section.  A confirmation window will pop up to confirm the deletion.

NOTE:  Deleting a hold code map does not affect any performances to which that map has been applied.
