Kids Tickets funded program

We have been raising fund for a KidsTix program.  This is designed to allow children/families who may not be able to afford performance tickets to attend performances throughout the year.  I am unsure how to create the process for this.

We will have an application for families.  They will be approved for the current "season".  I was thinking of creating a KidsTix attribute for each household in the program.  We will decide on a specific $ value or # performances that each family can attend each year.  We have created a KidsTix GL fund to use as the payment method.

I am thinking my Ticketing Reps will need to manually look at the current orders for each household to determine the $ amount or # performances already purchased through the KidsTix fund.  Does anyone have any better process for this?
