Is there really not a ticket design element for this? There's a separate element for Time Slot! This is frustrating, as our Ticket Office and FoH Staff both dislike the time slot.
Maybe you could use one of the 6 user defined elements in LP_TICKET_ELEMENTS? Those are available in ticket designs.
I thought about that, but we're in a consortium, so I'm hesitant to use any more, especially for something relatively minor like this.
Is masking an option? I have not looked at masking in a long time, but I remember being able to do a few useful things with it.

I was thinking of a mask for the performance date. Is that what you are trying to get at Gawain? The DOW for the perf_dt?
This might be annoying, but how about using the performance info lines? You could easily use SQL to bulk update those. This assumes that you are not already using all 4 elements on your print at home or other ticket designs.
Another idea is to add a row to TR_TIME_SLOT with a space for the description (e.g. " ") since you cannot have it be null. This would allow you to use the existing DOW with time slot element.
Interesting thought: I think the annoyance isn't enough for us to use one of those for it, but I'll run that by the team.
I wonder if that's one of those tables you aren't supposed to touch (I have a nightmare to untangle with T_GOOESOFT_DROPDOWN because of doing that): but I'm remembering, I don't think that's something you select, i thing Tessitura sets it automatically based on the time of day?
