Hi all!
We have a new exhibit that's opened up. We have tickets sold online for it, and tickets bought onsite. Most of the onsite tickets are sold from a box office immediately outside then exhibit, so the BOCA tickets that get printed aren't used- they just get thrown away immediately. We'd like to null-print those tickets, but have the receipt print out for each transaction. Is this possible?
My first thought was to set the default printer to Null Printer, but re-print the Receipt using the actual BOCA. This would work, but it would require a few extra clicks.
Is it possible to set a certain Production Season's worth of tickets to not print any BOCA tickets? Is there an elegant solution to this? We would want the PAH templates through TNEW to keep sending.
Have you considered turning on auto-attend for those performances in the MOS used at the box office? It by default marks tickets both printed and attended (but can be configured to physically print if needed).
Another interesting thought! I'm looking at the documentation now. How granular does that get? We'd want only tickets sold onsite (in our Admissions Mode of Sale), and only in a particular Production Season (2023 Dino Seas) to be auto-printed. The auto-attending is irrelevant, as we do our Analytics off of Sales and Revenue, not pass-through.
It is configured at the performance-mode-of-sale level.
Support informed me that the auto-attend setup will not auto-null-print the tickets in question. How has it behaved for you?
Auto Attend will mark tickets as printed, even if not actually printed. Here's an example from an order history from today:
That is good to know, thank you! I'll look into that further. Does it allow you to print the receipt at the same time?
