Multi Day event ticketing using access control - how are you doing it?

Hi everyone, 

I have recently begun working with a multi day music festival that has ticketing requirements that are (I believe) quite unique amongst Tessitura users. 

4 Day festival with 25K+ attendees per day which need to be wristbanded for both licensing and access control purposes to record entries / pass outs and provide real time figures of attendances for emergency services. 

The ideal scenario for us is that we could complete the ticket sale in Tessitura and be able to link each subline item to unique wristbands via the barcode and that the access control system would work as it usually does checking validity, flagging double entry and showing any errors. I am aware that the access control system doesn't provide this kind of live attendance reporting and that we would need to build a custom report for that also.

We haven't yet been able to successfully print on a wristband (like you would a paper ticket) nor have we been able to find a way to get an externally generated barcode saved against a subline item. 

So the question is, are there any Tessitura licensees out there running multiday events with pass outs and using access control? If so how are you doing it? Please feel to get in touch directly. equinn@womadelaide.com.au

The ticketing will be split into Composite packages for the buyers attending multiple days and single tickets for buyers attending on a single day.
