I found a 13-year-old answer that says what I'd like to do isn't possible, but I wanted to resurrect the question to see if anything has changed since then. What I'd like to do is conditionally hide the seat total on a boca ticket design based on a price type short desc. For example, if the price type is Comp, I'd like to display the price type short desc of "COMP", but hide the $0.00 seat total. Anyone know if that's possible these days?
Couldn't you just copy the existing ticket design, remove the Seat Total $ field(s) and then assign that new design to the price type on your performances?
Definitely doable, but there are print at home considerations if you do that.
Another thought might be a custom mask on a $0.00 value. But then that would ALSO hide it on other price types that had a $0.00 value. May be just fine for this situation; may not be.
This is certainly possible with a custom ticket element. But I am not aware of a standard element + masking option to get done the exact price type to paid value relationship you want.
