I am trying to offer group sales online through the use of a promo code. Is there a way to make it so that patrons have to purchase at least 10 tickets? I see ticket limits in the promo set up, but not a minimum
You should be able to use Pricing Rules with or without a Promo Code to trigger a discount based on ticket quantity. Here's a link to and an example from the Pricing Rules Recipe Book: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System/Content/Pricing%20Rules/Pricing%20Rules%20Recipe%20Book.htm
Hope this helps.
This could be super helpful. I've gone ahead and done that in tessitura, but it isn't triggering when I go online. I still am limited to purchasing only 8 tickets
Is your site default set to 8? I've had to change this in the back end before.
It is and that isn't something I can change based on our policy to try and avoid scalpers. I was trying to find a way to have that limit changed when a Group sales promo code is entered, so that it was still password protected
Debugging web pricing rules is often eaiest started by testing in the client. If you use the Web MOS in the Tessitura Order Details screen and see if it's triggering there you can tell if it's the ruleitself rather than the website. Often for me it was because I hadn't added the rule to the corrent Pricing Rule Set.
For Ticket Limit caps in TNEW there is a MAX_SEATS_PER_REQUEST that is set in the web config file. Support can help with that if you are Hosted Services. If that is set a little higher (say 10) you can set your Seat Maximum Quantity for packages (Component Editor) and product types (Product type editor) but unfortunately if on the product and not the MOS or on a promo.
