We just upgraded to TC21 scanners and are using them with Nscan Contactless. For some reason, the TC21's barcode readers are powering off after very short lengths of scan inactivity. I have the device itself set to stay awake indefinitely if plugged in, but our staff is having to exit out of the Contactless app's scanning screen and go back in to reinitialize the scanner every few minutes. I've been hunting for a setting in Nscan Contactless, the device settings, and in Data Wedge for hours but haven't found anything. Our old TC70's barcode readers would stay on indefinitely if we left them on the same screen.
Thanks for any help!
No answers, but curious to see what you find out, as I think I'm having the same issue with my T26's.
The answer I got back was: it's a defect in Nscan Contactless that is fixed in v16.0.04 & the new all-in-one Access Control app.
So not great for those of us still on v15 & the separate Nscan/Nscan Contactless apps. Just another reason to prioritize that upgrade . . .
