In Ticketing Setup/Production Elements/Productions tab, under the Synopsis tab, all of sudden I’ve been getting a frequent error message when I try to save the content. It always says Item ‘….’ does not pass the validation test. Sometimes what falls between the quotes is merely a text line, sometimes its file directory path for a graphic.
Any light you can shed on the reasons why this is occurring suddenly, when it never use to, would be appreciated.

Ahhhh…..maybe that is in indeed the reason! So, guess Synopsis is in fact a “field”, contrary to my belief and reply to Caryl.
This helps because I am trying to load up a bunch of text in this one particular performance. I’ll copy and paste it into a Word doc and get a character count.

That field can handle 4,085 characters without getting the validation error.

I am sure this is the error message that you get when you reach the character limit for that field.

Another tidbit about that field, moving from a rich text format to plain text can play tricks with your quotation marks. So if you are using HTML in that field, pasting code from Word can potentially break your links. Took me a while to figure that one out. Always good to proof yourself online when done.
