Ticket Location in new Facility

The Houston Symphony has just added a new facility for some upcoming concerts.  The tickets are selling just fine but the Location doesn't show in the Ticket History record.    Is the facility linked in some way to the creation of the Location code?  Did we miss a step somewhere?

All advice is appreciated.   Thanks.

  • Hi Jan,

LP_UPDATE_TKT_HIST is what we run to update the ticket history.

Thanks, Amanda,   That's what I was thinking, but I don't know what that script is.

First thing that comes to mind is that probably your local script for updating ticket history specifies only certain facilities? Then you'd need to edit it to include the new one. Or if in general there are certain facilities you never want to display location for, you might consider just excluding those, rather than including others. Then you wouldn't have to change it every time you create a new one.

Another possibility is if the performances in the new facility are in a different season, if your script is running only for specific seasons, as opposed to just running for all active seasons or something, it could be that, and not actually related to the facility itself.
