Hello All!

I wanted to reach out to those of you using the TN Express Web and ask you how you are doing your group sales online since the web only supports up to 10 single tickets max currently? At this time, we are doing it by having a web page that describes the 15% discounting for 15 or more:

Do any of you have another way that you would be willing to share?

  • Bobbie,

Right now we are only doing group sales as part of our college/university sales. Our Group Sales Manager works with a specific college class where the instructor has told everyone they need to purchase their own tickets and may do so online. We give them a special promo word and when used online it puts the patron into a special MOS that uses allocated seat locations. This way we can make sure they are only purchasing tickets on the specific day and are sitting in the correct location in the theatre to sit with the group. It's been working really well for us. We even send the teacher a link with the promo word embedded so all they have to do is click the link and it will take them to the performance.

    Hi Bobbie,

We are not currently on TN Express, but do implement the same process as Karen describes, which has worked extremely well.  We have expanded this as an option to all group leaders who are booking for a specific performance and the response has been excellent.

The promo code tied to a group rate, special MOS and allocation ensure that members of the group are seated together but allows members of the group to purchase individually while alleviating the responsibility of the group leader to collect money for payment from them.  The allocation of seats can be set at whatever you want ( 15, 25, 100, etc.) and then adjusted up or down as we monitor sales for this group.
