At my organization we do not have live seating enabled for online subscription purchases. This means we need to keep a careful eye on availability with a custom report. Once availability goes below 10 seats, we take it offsale online to prevent overselling.
Before single tickets go onsale (which are live sat online), we remove package price zones that are close to being offsale by placing holds on all the seats in a price zone. Once single tickets go onsale, this will not be possible as we don't want to restrict the single ticket sales in those seats.
So far, the only solution we have is to disable the price zone in the specific package price type in Season Maintenance once seat availability goes below 10 seats. This is not ideal as there are still seats that could be sold within that package. This could be enabled on a case by case basis if someone calls in, but it does slow down processing for a rep to request the price zone be enabled.
Does anyone know of a way we can take the price zone offsale in TNEW (or hide it somehow?) without affecting subscription processing in Tessitura?
