Hello Tessitura Friends!
We are searching for a better waitlist option for our summer camps.
This year we created a separate pricing zone in each performance and titled it Waitlist with $0 tickets. We hoped that this would streamline the process of moving folks from the waitlist to paid registration spots, but it seems to have caused more confusion and manual work instead.
We use the edu customization and have a lengthy registration process included with the ticket purchase through TNEW.
I have heard of people using separate waitlist performances, or using a waitlist MOS that allows unseated / unpaid orders, but I'm not clear on the best practices to implement those options.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,

We use a wait list mode of sale and leave the event unseated. However, we have a custom report that we use to pull a list of the waiting list patrons so our education staff knows in which order the student was placed on the list.
Thanks for your reply! How do patrons access the waitlist MOS if they are looking at a full camp on TNEW, or does your reservations team handle waitlist inquiry and order processing manually?
Our reservations team handles all waiting list orders and process them manually. We have messaging on TNEW that directs patrons to call in if a class is unavailable online as it could have limited availability or it may be full.
Thank you!
