June 1 auto billing ran for our subscriptions that are on payment plans. There were 50 orders that auto billed. Three of those orders mysteriously had the payment method change from Amex-nonweb to Guild Amex-nonweb which is used only for our Guild transactions. The box office does not even have access to this payment method. Two of the 3 orders were placed several months ago and had the May auto billing run correctly, but for June the payment method somehow changed. The third order was set up more recently so June was the first auto billing that occurred. Can anyone shed some light on this and know how to prevent this from happening next month?

This is David with the Tessitura Network Support team. After looking at your payment method set up, we determined that the issue was that both the Amex-nonweb and Guild Amex-nonweb payment methods had the Default for Billing box checked for both sets of payment methods and they all belong to the same payment method group. The Default for Billing box tells the billing utilities which payment method to select. More info can be found in our documentation at the link below
