Exchanging within a package before order has been paid

Is there a way to exchange one show for another within a package before the order has been paidWe are taking subscription orders now and not charging anyone until our fiscal starts on July 1st, and in the past, I haven´t had to do an exchange before the order has been paid. Since I can´t print the tickets without payment, I am not able to delete or return anything. Is my only option to delete the entire package and start over?

  • Hi, We use an Advanced Exchange Package.  Found this in Mini Magic at a conference in 2012.  Thanks to whoever presented that!

We reduce the min number in the package and delete the show being exchanged.  Then I add a flex package "Adv Exchange" pkg to this same order and enter the new date and with the same price type.  This flex package has all performances for our season built separately in Perf Groups. There may be a difference in price since some days are a bit more or less than others.

A few things to note:  The package must be seated if it is a Super Package to save the base seats for Rollover.  Also, make sure the way your reporting is pulled you can see the exchanged data.

If there are new and improved ways I would love to hear them as well.
