Hello all!
Today I'm wondering if it's possible to have a message only pricing rule appear based on some performances but then disappear if other performances are also in the cart? What we currently have is a message only pricing rule that triggers when someone adds a subscription package to the cart. The message will just say something like "hey if you don't have tickets for The Color Purple yet you can add on now!". But if a patron then does add on The Color Purple tickets to the cart, the message still displays. Is there a way to set up the rule to display if a package is in the cart and also if The Color Purple is not added?
To note: we are not on TNEW and we have a custom website.
Thanks!
Sara
We are doing something similar with out packages and the add on performances. However we are on TNEW, and that is not the behavior we experience. From what we see on our site, a message only pricing rule only triggers once per order, even if there are multiple performances set to trigger it and they all get added to the cart, the message still only displays once. Do not take my word for it, but it seems like your custom site is managing pricing rule messages differently from TNEW sites. It might be worth reaching out to the developer, but if it was built by a third party that might be more trouble than its worth.
