Has anyone ever used Tessitura to sell raffle tickets? If so how successful was it and how did you set it up?
Hi Paul
We have done this. We had a car raffle and tickets were bought through our Ticket Office. We set it up as a reserved venue with ‘seat’ numbers from 1 to 1000, then we had ‘performances’ named 1001-2000, 2001-3000 etc, all set up at the appropriate number of minutes past midnight. So tickets 24001-25000 were at the performance time of 12.24am. These seat numbers matched the numbers on the tickets that we had printed separately. Our development department were managing the event so they added all orders onto Tessitura linking tickets with constituents. If there’s anything else I can assist with, please feel free to contact me directly.
All the best.

We're planning on using a raffle for tickets to our free show later this summer. Customers can sign up online (creates a csi in their account). I wrote a stored procedure to select a given number of accounts at random and save them as a list. We'll see how it works out.
