Is anyone doing something really savvy with student tickets? Ideally, ways to validate eligibility for students in advance so that they can book online and use digital tickets (you know, other than the trust system).

What we've done is set up an online registration within their account. Included as part of the registration process, we ask that they upload a copy of their student ID. If the ID doesn't have a current date (graduation year or current semester) we ask that they upload a copy of their class schedule. Their registration triggers a CSI, and a rep reviews the registratiion and the ID/schedule. If this information is valid, we'll add our Student Insider constituency. Then, we'll use the constituency in our pricing rules to allow access to our student discounts/comps.
