Hello all,
As we're preparing to open our box office for in person sales I am planning on making a few changes to our setup to help my team feel more comfortable. I am hoping I can get recommendations on a few things based on what your organization does:
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

We are experimenting with communication options as well. With windows between agents and patrons have had their challenges in the past, adding masks to the equation further aggravates everyones experience in understanding what the other is saying. Not wanting to add another system for our agents to have to manage I wanted to incorporate something into our VOIP phone system. We successfully tested a couple of VOIP door stations from Viking electronics (https://vikingelectronics.com/products/e-20-ip/). I added these units as an additional handset on our VOIP system and assigned a button on the agent phone labeled INTERCOM. They simply push this button and the Viking unit answers automatically and you can communicate back and forth. We are also testing a Grandstream Intercom Speaker/Microphone version (http://www.grandstream.com/products/facility-management/intercoms-paging/product/gsc3510) that has a bit better audio quality.
Hi J. Paul FitzGerald,
Thank you for taking the time to share these links and explain the changes to your setup. I will take a look and see if something similar might work for us. I hope that your new setup works well for you and your team!
