How to send PAH to an email address that's not the primary for the Owner

This might be a simple fix, or a non-starter, but I figured I'd give it a go.

Is it possible to send the PAHs for a given order to an email address that isn't the primary address on the order?

We process group sales with the organization as the owner, with a staff person/affiliate as the initiator. We can send the confirmation to a number of email addresses, using the 'print order' button. Is there a way to send the PAH PDFs to that email as well (or any other email), without editing/replacing the email address for the main constituent?

  • Hi Nathanael! In the order header of each order, you'll see a field called Alt Address. Clicking the chiclet will pop up a window where you can assign a default postal address and email address for the order. They can be from the owner or the initiator. This is how you establish which postal and email addresses is the default, best one to use for everything associated with the order. 

    If you select an email address and save it, then it will be used to send the PAH tickets for the order. It will also become the new default in the Print Order window that you mentioned (you can still select an alternate one). The selected addresses are also referenced by some assorted processes and outputs, like billing utilities. Simply making a selection does not affect the constituent records permanently. But, if desired, you can add new addresses from this window; those are permanently added to the constituent records.
