Hi there,
So we are trying to offer a limited number of discounted tickets to our members per performance. I thought of just putting together a pricing rule that just gives them the discount (a 10% in this case) based on whether or not they have the members consituency. But it seems like that would be difficult to track how many members tickets we are selling--especially since we are doing dynamic pricing.
My other idea was to do a pricing rule that would change the price type to a special members price type with the appropriate discount, but is this possible if the mode of sale is not publicly available to the patron?
How other people accomplishing these kinds of membership discounts?
Hi Robert, Our memberships use a ranking that switches their mode of sale online when they login. We can then set up price types that are only visible within this mode of sale.
Not sure if this is how your memberships work though so might not be the same,
