We have recently upgraded our BOCA printers to 300 dpi from 200 dpi, and in doing so I now need to adjust the ticket designs. Is there a way to copy a design from one printer type list to another, so that I dont have to recreate the wheel but just make the spacing changes necessary to fill the ticket.
Also noticed that when I created the new Printer type, there are no fonts associated in the new ticket designs under the new printer type.
Hi Angela,
You cannot have more than one Boca printer type. What you should do is edit Max Rows and Max Cols values on the original Boca printer type to the values you need for the 300 DPI printers. These values are only defaults used whenever you add a new design, so changing them won’t affect any of your existing designs. After you do that you can copy your existing designs for editing. Or if you no longer need 200 DPI designs you can just change the Rows and Columns values on your existing designs, which will make them bigger, and then adjust the positioning of the elements accordingly.
A new ticket design document was published a few months back that details DPI issues and printer types. Here is a link: Ticket Designs
Also note, we do not recommend using both 200 and 300 DPI printers at the same time as it is not possible to choose the appropriate designs for the printer being used when printing from ticket orders.

Hi Thomas,
Since the above was posted, the majority of Tessitura documentation has been moved to the online help system, rather than live in scattered Word docs. I think you'll find the same information there, under Ticketing Setup & Administration >> Ticket Design.
I hope that helps,Todd
