Offer limits by production, rather than by order/constituent?

Hi all!

I'm looking to limit an offer to a certain number of tickets per performance. I believe the Offer Limit field limits the number of tickets any one order can book.

Curious how you have approached this in the past. I know that max seats that can be set on a pricing rule, but that's system-wide rather than by performance.

Cheers!

  • Hi Andrew, I've done this 2 ways - in my previous workplace, we had a custom tab in performance setup that let us limit number of tickets by price type for a given performance. We don't have that custom tab where I am now, and instead use a 'Set Price Type Restriction' utility (I'm not sure if this is custom, I don't remember seeing it in either of my previous Tessitura-using orgs). As long as your price type is individual to your offer, either option works well. We haven't worked out a way to limit by production (instead of by performance), though, which would also be useful.
