Thinking about a little more, I would suggest making the number of seats in a row equal to a nice round number. For example, 50 or 75 seats per row. Easier to do the math. We have a facility with 18,900 seats over 6 screens. Having each row of 75 makes the math easier when creating Allocation and Hold Code maps.

Do you have any single screens longer than 100? Is there a point at which it is better to break between multiple screens?

I believe the max you can have per screen (within a facility) is 99 rows by 99 columns (the counter won't go to 3 places, just 2).  You can, however, have multiple screens within a facility, and Tessitura's recommended size is to not go above 50k (50,000) defined seats across all screens within a facility.  https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v151h/Tessitura.htm#Facility%20Setup/Facility%20Manager.htm

That being said, you may also want to consider how many columns you create within a screen, as elements like the drop-down of the zone/hold/etc. selection can obscure part of your view of the screen when you are in things like season maintenance or facility manager on a regular-sized monitor display and make it incredibly......fun.......to apply things.  We've found for our larger facilities that around 40 or 50 columns is a good spot, that also allows for nice even numbering for things like seat numbers and contiguity.

And of course, if you zone your maps, you will want to consider how they break across your screens - as that will also impact your price templates in their size (more zones, more scrolling in the price template).

We have several facilities that are now up to 15,000 or 20,000, and other than when we do hold maps, they don't seem to have slowed things down in the system.  

If you have the ability to add a large monitor to your computer setup, it helps immensely when you are doing facility work - but not all ticketing stations can do a large monitor, so that has become part of our logic in limiting number of columns so that users are mostly scrolling down rather than across to see screen maps (if you have folks seating from maps).

We do not have any rows > 75. You also want to think about how it will display on the seat map screen. Try to avoid the need to scroll left/right or up/down. With 3,150 seats per screen, we have some scrolling down required. Mind that our facility is a general admission facility, so it doesn't matter where they are seated in our facility.
