Hello,
Is anyone using any robocall service they like? If so, would you care to share with me?
- Chris
We've been using Callfire since the start of the pandemic. They do calls and texts. You record/write what you want. You can do interactive calls as well. I love them. So easy and it works. It's $.06 a call/text.
Thanks for this Tess. I will certainly check them out. Have you used both services or just robocalls?
We use both the calls and the texts.
Any other positives/negatives you experienced with Callfire?
Once you figure out how to pull the extraction and list out of Tessitura the way Callfire likes it is really easy. Sometimes it can run a little slow, but I call the support line and they usually can push things through. I honestly have nothing, but good things to say. Callfire saved our bacon during covid.
We've been using VoiceShot for the past 3 years. I'm able to call in and record my messages from anywhere or I can import them as a .wav file. You can also record different messages for those who answer versus those that go to voicemail and if desired, prompt those who answer to press a number and be routed directly to your ticketing line or any other number you want to send them to. Calls can be scheduled to deploy to everyone simultaneously or you can schedule different segments of your list to receive calls at certain times to minimize the potential of getting hit with a bunch of returned calls all at once. They also have real time reporting with calls coded based on the outcome so you know how many went to voicemail and how many were dropped, hang-ups, bad numbers, etc. They charge 12 cents per call with a 60 second cap, so it's a little pricey compared to Callfire. I'll have to check that one out as well. They also offer texts, but we haven't used them.
