I'm wondering if anyone has a script that can "undo" or "reverse" a ticket reprint? I've found an older thread that indicates someone has created something to help reverse a mistaken batch print.
In our case, a user accidentally reprinted an entire order, when they meant to only reprint certain parking tickets. They used order entry to reprint the tickets, not the batch printing module.
If anyone has something useful for a situation like this one, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Michael
Michael,
I might have what you need there. We had a situation where that exact thing happened. It was a 3 performance rental where the rental client took the entirety of the prime section of our main hall and distributed all the tickets to their subscribers months in advance. All the tickets were on the same order, and the morning of the first performance a box office staffer, after being asked to reprint one pair of tickets for a subscriber who lost theirs accidentally reprinted the entire order. The rental client started freaking out, and the box office was talking about just not scanning in tickets when they came to me.
So I wrote up a script that essentially just swaps out the currently valid tickets for the otherwise most recently valid tickets (in case of additional prior reprints of other tickets) for a given order number. So it would definitely need tweaking if you wanted to use this to undo a batch printing, but for a specific order, it should work just fine. Let me know if you are interested.
If so, you might want to test it first on an order in your test system. I have not had to use this in 3+ years. I do not believe there has been any changes in the table architecture behind this area of Tessitura, but, as I said, I have not used it in a bit so it might be good just to verify.

John,
Thank you for your response! This sounds like it's exactly what we need. The situations are even very similar to one another--ours was a comp order with a massive block of tickets given to a department head for distribution. I can use the exact order in the Test environment to make sure it works, too. Can you send to michael.dorsey@state.mn.us?
And thanks again for your help on NCOA updates. Works great!
Michael, if you were able to get this from John...Could you please pass it along. My email is dharris@tpac.org.
I just forwarded the script that John sent us to both Daniel and M. Jane. Good luck.
