Dynamic pricing after prices have been published

We are exploring the possibility of using Dynamic prices for one of our Classical Subscription performances next season but we have already published set prices.  Does anyone have any experience with adjusting prices after they  have been printed in brochures, etc? Can it (should it) be done?

Thanks,

Amy Finch

  • The first show where we used dynamic pricing had prices published.   After the decision was made to increase prices we pulled all prices from future materials for that show. We had a few comments from patrons that had previously produced materials, but not as much as we anticipated.

However, because we knew after that first show that we were going to continue down that road with other shows we decided to stop publishing prices.  Now we advertise our shows with Prices start at $XX and most items say that pricing is subject to change.
