Feel free to tell me I'm crazy (using your nice words - it's been a day!) but it seems as though there have been unexpected changes to the constituent search screen. When I search for a patron with the last name of Harold (or Christopher) I'm getting every household account for men named Harold, rather than getting the patron records for folks whose last name is Harold.
Is this expected behavior? I have to look through hundreds of accounts to get to the 4 with the last name of Harold (and one Haroldson, which is expected).
It seems like this change has made things much harder than they need to be...

You are not crazy. Everytime something like that occurs for me and I'm ready to pull my hair out it's usually because I unticked the "individuals" box last time I was searching and have thoughougly been unable to see it (even though it's staring me in the face).
Hope that's it.
Also Households are set up with ONLY a last name. Often when setting things up in our org here we have called the household something like Harold and Bob Smith Household where Harold is A1 and Bob is A2. Hence that Harold and Bob Smith Household turns up when searching for the patrons with last name Harold... You can filter out the HH results unticking the Household search above.

All the boxes are still checked. Getting all of the households containing first name Harold when searching for the last name of Harold seemed like unexpected new behavior to me. You're explanation and SQL image makes sense.
